Science-This week we will have our final test on Matter.
Math-We will learn about integers and the coordinate grid.

Week of March 5-9


Science--This week we will finish up our Science Matter Unit. The experiments have been a lot of fun. I'm still cleaning up messes!! We will be reviewing and test next Weds. and Thurs.

Writing-We just finished our Persuasive Writing Tests and are working on Limerick Poetry.

Math-We just tested on Multiplying Fraction and Algebra. This week we will learn about Range, Median, (Averages) Mode, and graphs.

Please encourage your child to continue reading 30 minutes every night and getting his/her homework finished. Check their homework log after they have finished and sign.

Honor Day was held on Thursday-The students had a lot of fun!!
Science-Chemical and Physical Changes-Next week students will be presenting an experiment to show a chemical or physical change. Please support your child in this
assignment. I told them to look on the internet, books, etc.

WEEK OF VALENTINES AND PARENT TEACHERS CONFERENCE.

TUESDAY-HaPpY VALENTINES DAY!! The school will have a Valentines Day Awards lunch. We will present our Valentine Poetry. After, we will pass out our Valentines to the class.

WEDNESDAY-Conferences begin at 2:40. I'll see you there.

THURSDAY-
Parent Teacher Conferences from 12:30-7:30.

Week of January 30-February 3rd



Last week I went to a National Conference in Seattle where our school received an award for improving student's academic achievement. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot from national presenters.

This week:
Monday-1/2 Day
Math-We will continue learning about decimals and fractions.
Science-Matter
Writing-Finish up our persuasions and start a new one on the computer.

Week of January 16th

Last week we took our fractions test. They were sent home on Friday. Parents please sign and have your child return for credit.

This week we will practice for the Science (electricity test).

Monday-No School (Martin Luther King Day)

Thursday-Honor Day (Game Day-Bring a game from home to play.) Please do not bring electronic games.

Friday-Maturation Program (I will send out information as soon as I receive it.)
It usually starts at 1:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Happy New Year!!


This past week we wrote about our New Year's Resolutions!
Many students wrote goals to read more books!!

This week:
Math: We will be testing on fractions.
Spelling/Vocabulary: We will test on Friday.
Science: We will finish our circuit boards.
Dibles Testing: Wednesday-Please READ every day!!
Honor day: 1 week from Thursday-Games from home.

Don't forget that Friday is 1/2 day!!
