Just a Reminder!!

Parents,

Please remember to check your child's progress report each Friday.  I will continue filling them out until the end of may.  Also review daily planners to make sure work is being completed.  We are trying to encourage each child to turn in all of their homework and stay on task for the remainder of the year.  Here is our goals:

Every day your child will receive 6 points-
+2 points for behavior
+2 points for attendance
+2 points for homework
  6 points each day x 5 = 30 points per week

We will do this for 5 weeks.  Your child could earn 5 x 30=150 Points!

If your child has 125-150 points at the end of 5 weeks we will be taking them to the Bees Baseball game in Salt Lake City.  It will be an all day field trip on May 20th.  We would like every student to attend!!! Please encourage your child to continue to do their work, attend class every day, and have good behavior.

Writing-Sage writing tests
Reading-READ every night for 30+ minutes to meet goal!  (Swim Party is May 27th)

Hey Cache Valley Kids! Today I am going to talk about Spring.

First of all what is Spring? I think Spring is the time of year where warm air suddenly blows in your face and beautiful flowers start to bloom. In my opinion Spring is my favorite time of year because it is not too hot and it is not too cold.
When you hear Spring what do you think of? When I hear Spring I think of the chirping birds and all the little baby animals that are born and all the plants that are coming back to life. I also love the thunderstorms.
Spring has many different advantages, kind of like all the other seasons. Spring is my favorite season because you can do many different activities after sitting inside for a lot of the winter it is nice to play sports outside in the nice, warm air or draw on the concrete with chalk and smell all the fresh scents of flowers and trees. But nothing compares to hanging out with your friends outside on Spring Break!
Thank you for reading my article about why I love Spring!
